Vue is a 3D scenery generator software package. It is used for the creation, animation, and rendering of natural 3D environments, in particular outdoor landscapes. It is used by visual effects studios for this purpose.
Vue is available in six versions: xStream, Infinite, Complete, Pro Studio, Esprit, and Pioneer. xStream and Infinite have the same feature set, but Infinite is a standalone program, while xStream is designed to be used from within 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, LightWave, Maya, and Softimage. The rest are standalone programs with progressively-reduced feature sets.

Vue 5 is a 32 bit application, designed to run under Windows® NT4™/2000 or XP and Macintosh® OS X.
Like all 3D packages, it is highly demanding in terms of computer power. Although the application is totally multi-threaded to ensure the smoothest possible response, you have to realize that there is a lot going on when you work in Vue 5. This is why we feel that running it on a 512MB, 1GHz Pentium™ 4/Athlon™/G4™ computer, or better, is best suited.
