FileMaker plugin for image and file handling

InsideScan is an image management plug-in that lets you handle your
images in a FileMaker Pro database. Since it is perfectly integrated with
FileMaker Pro, InsideScan allows you to:

- import images directly from TWAIN and Photoshop compliant acquisition
sources (scanners, digital cameras, etc.), and choose to save them on
disk or directly in your container fields;

- import images in your database, by supplying their pathname;

- export images from container fields, in a specified format (i.e. JPEG,

Optional scanner with TWAIN driver or Adobe Photoshop plug-in.


System Software Requirements

v1.0.x: Mac OS 7.6 or later, QuickTime 3.0 or later (QuickTime 4 recommended)
v1.5.x: Mac OS 8.1 or later (9.1 fully supported), QuickTime 4.0 or later (QuickTime 5 recommended)
v1.6.x: Mac OS 8.1 or later (9 and OS X fully supported), QuickTime 4.0 or later (QuickTime 5 recommended)
v1.7.x: Mac OS 8.6 or later (9 and OS X fully supported), QuickTime 5 or later (QuickTime 6 recommended)
v1.8.x: Mac OS 9 or OS X
v2.x, v3.x: Mac OS X only

Note: 1.6fc14 and 1.6fc18 were each said to be "the last" OS 9 version, but v1.7 and v1.8 say they support OS 9!.


FileMaker Pro Requirements

InsideScan also fully supports FileMaker Pro Server 3.0, as long as the plug-in is installed on each computer used for accessing the server.

1.0.x through 1.7 support FileMaker Pro 4.x through 5.x
v1.6 is NOT fully compatible with FileMaker Pro 7!

1.5.2 and 1.8.x support FileMaker Pro 6.

1.8.x supports FileMaker Pro 5 through 7.

2.0 supports FileMaker Pro 7, 8, 9.

2.5 supports FileMaker Pro 11 through 13.

3.0 alpha test supports FileMaker Pro 14.
